The Buakhao White Lotus' program is remarkable because each child is taken care of until he is out of danger. Everything possible is done to reconstruct the child to give him an education so that he can go on with his life and have a better chance.

How are the children chosen for this
program ? The criterion are as follows:

Once in the Centre, children are followed by chosen educators. A monthly assesment is done with each of them on the following topics:

What becomes of the children rescued from brothels, do the families take them back, what kind of future do they have?

A child in the family has already been prostituted.
The parents have tried to prostitute their children.
The family has been contacted by a middle man.
The family is too poor, unemployed, sick, drug user, and/or cannot educate the child.
Broken home or monoparental.
The child has been physically or psychologically abused.
Because of aids the child is an orphan
